He has a very high opinion of himself. He feels the need to criticize anyone who doesn't see his point of view. He thinks movies like this are beneath his "intellectual" state of mind. In short, the guys a hubris douche.

I'm sorry but it's just a really poorly made movie with a lot of really stupid humor. If that's your thing that's fine (i guess) but don't try to tell me that this is some kind of good movie because it's not.

I've only seen Clue once.... I was like 9, thought it was great then. No idea now.
I love the Coen Brothers but Raising Arizona still isn't my favorite of theirs. I really liked Inside Llewyn Davis. Very underrated film. Good comedy too.

Where did I say I don't know the difference? I just think it's funny that you have this disdain for those movies for being "dumb comedies" but then laud a Tim Allen movie.
