LINK

$72.79 at the time of this post

The only wild card is the true brand recognition. I'm not impressed with the product at all.

Thoughts?

Be careful here. Perception is often much stronger than reality. Any video that's taken from someone's forehead is called a "GoPro" whether that's the manufacturer or not.

So, you aren't impressed so you want to short?

That's bold. You never really what customers are going to do/go for. Its finicky making decisions based of what you expect customers to do.

In light of the ferguson incident, every police department may be requiring one for their officers.

Military too.

Just something to think about...

with a trailing p/e of 260 and 5 yr projected PEG of over 7, I'd say, yeah...they're WAY overvalued and prime candidate for a short, but I'm not one to bet against irrational exuberance, it can stay up as long as people want it to....

there's only so many of these cameras they're going to sell. for them to justify the stock price, they're going to have to diversify into surveillance, drones to mount cameras on, auto etc.

I wouldn't choose to touch it either way, but if I had to, I'd take a long term short

ETA: up 7% today....NOW it's time to short it

Be careful.

Drone surveillance for construction and marine applications is starting to explode.

They aren't just capturing the kid on a surfboard
