That is disgusting....amd here I thought Barrack Obama was a genuine hero...I can't believe that the commander in chief of the military is out of uniform...why isn't he dressed up in his Idi Amin general outfit...it is very disrespectful to the marines for their commander in chief to be out of uniform....


Until Reagan started the practice (because it played well with "patriots") it was not done at all....Presidents didn't salute soldiers. I have been told by military people that anyone who is not in the military (exclduing retirees) should not be saluting anyone....that it denigrates the practice.

I would bet that if any of us had a camera up our arse 24 - 7 we would see all sorts of shite that looked bad. Of course when you become a politician that is part of the deal....
