Wonder what movie they watched.

That too. Probably the "female friend" or some hooker.

For those who are too lazy to click the link

quote:

Rob Bironas' wife, Rachel Bradshaw, did not realize her husband had left their Nashville home Saturday night, according to police records. Former Titans kicker Bironas was killed in an overnight car crash in Nashville. He was 36. According to Metro police, Bironas was involved in a crash in the 800 block of Battery Lane around 11 p.m. Saturday. Bradshaw called police Saturday night to report her husband was missing. She told a police officer that she and her husband had been watching a movie earlier that night at their home with a female friend. Bradshaw said Bironas told her "goodnight" at 10:30 p.m. and she thought he went to bed. After a few moments, she went to check on him and could not find him. She tried to call him and when she could not reach him she called relatives. No one had talked with him so she called police. She said it was unusual for him to leave their home without telling her. Bradshaw also said the couple had not been arguing.

Weird story. Sounds like he was on something or drunk or she wouldn't have called the cops. I'm sure more will come out.

CBS story doesn't make sense-

quote:

kicker Rob Bironas was reported missing by his wife less than an hour before he died in a fatal car crash on Saturday night.

quote:

Rachel last saw Rob at 10:30 p.m.
Before the crash, which happened around 11:03 p.m.

Within 33 minutes, a few moments pass before she goes into the bedroom, then she can't find him, calls him, calls friends, calls family and call police.

I saw a dateline kinda like this. Here's my theory that is very much based off of that scenario. Something happened at home, accident or not, but bironas dies (possibly murdered?). The accident is then staged and the 911 call is from the unnamed "female friend" and bironas' wife's phone call is done quickly as well to try to prove she was looking for him before the crash even though he was already dead.

That story can be disproved in about 3 seconds with an analysis of the crash and shite but some dude on dateline had cops fooled for a while with a staged car crash. Also I just wanted to post that so that if it's what happened, I'll be able to say I called it.

Maybe he was suicidal and she doesn't want to come out and say that. They may have talked about it or she knew he was having those problems. Then he's gone 30 minutes after he says he is going to sleep, it would make sense to call the cops.

This story is getting more unsettling by the day. Were drugs/booze involved?

Based on this and the other lady who called 911 on his driving I think Ambien is involved.

If I couldn't beat out Nate Freese for a job, I would go on a pill-induced rampage too.

Will we be seeing Maureen Maher narrate this story in a couple of years?

Apparently he also threatened a car full of college kids too.

LINK

quote:

"His window was down, and we pulled up and I said, 'Hey man, just a heads up, something’s burning from your exhaust. Your exhaust smells horrible, just wanted to let you know,'" Fraley said he told Bironas. “He looked over at me and said, 'I’m going to kill everybody in your (expletive) vehicle.' It was so random, so bizarre I was like, 'What?' And he said the exact same thing again.”

I think he took something, and then just lost his goddamn mind.
