LSU could throw it with the best of em when Davey and Reed were lighting up the scoreboards. The coaching staff capitalized on their abilities and LSU was playing some fine football. My point is that Rohan and Josh though not the greatest of all time... sure looked like it because Fisher took advantage of their skills to the fullest. I just don't see that happening a lot today.
I think you nailed it. When early NFL attrition further contributes to a problem, the impact of the absence of team leadership and experience is made far more accute. Which is where alert, responsive, adaptable coaching styles would and could help immensely. Unfortunately, at the present time at LSU there is but one model...
