It's actually a bit refreshing to see young people question their existence. The arrival at nihilism is a good step. It doesn't take long to realize that the evidence is overwhelming that nihilism is absurd. There is no way that random colllisions of matter and energy could create self awareness, emotions, and an ingrained sense of morality. You're on your way - probably Deism will be next.

This is a form of humanism. This set of beliefs has very ill-defined borders, but basically places the individual at the center of a nebulous belief system. it has no practical application or real substance. I am a drunk and drug addict and that was pretty much my belief system. (not implying you are either of those) i do the 12 steps and that has given value to my life I think mostly bc it's about helping others in there and looking at how shitty we really are. So, even if I'm deluding myself I really don't care, bc I ain't gotta drink or toot today, and that makes me happy.
