You are right that freshman class is good but the best QB in that class won't play football

Kid is a player.

ETA, on top of being cool under pressure and having a cannon, he dunked on a 2 on 1 fast break in middle school basketball up by only 2 points

Every once in a while you see a middle schooler who can dunk try it in a blowout, but in a tight game they won't go for it often. Sucker got up and tomahawked it. Well as much as a 5'9" 14 year old can

Kenny thomas was no where near carltons level. I graduated from walker 2 years ago . Carlton was a hell of a football player that didn't have the academics to play D-1 and Carlton was 6' pushing 200 pounds . Kenny Thomas was about 5'7 150 not nearly as fast as Carlton and definitely not nearly as strong either . Far from a freak athlete .

Went to the Denham v. Live Oak game (brothers play for the Freshman team and wanted to go). Live Oak isn't exactly full of playmakers, but Tyre's good. Like, really good.

Tyre is the most impressive Freshman I can remember playing 5-A ball in the local area. He is legit and will be a national recruit in a couple of years.

I played with U'Drego and have remained friends with him throughout the years. U'Drego had the talent but had some struggles in his early life. He has since turned his life around and is now a youth pastor at his church. He has raised his children in church and is giving them the support structure he didn't have.

Tyre is already taller than U'Drego and is still growing. U'Drego is maybe 5'9" with cleats on. Tyre has the support structure and the talent to be successful. Keep this kid on your radar. You will be hearing about him.

Well tyre isn't 5'9", but I agree with you

Udrego has given him and the other boys a structure that doesn't exists in many of the kids in that neighborhoods life.

Tyre is definitely the best player I've ever coached, but he is also legitimately one of the hardest workers, and absolutely the most humble

He routinely gives his award stickers to his linemen, and tries to deflect praise in his teammates direction.

He is special
