Does Alabama finally pass Texas in revenue this academic year? We have been #2 for several years now.

University of Texas total athletics debt = $263 million

Texas A&M athletics debt on its stadium expansion alone = At least $320 million

Texas could buy almost anything they want, almost. Saban will not leave Bama, beyond that Texas could buy any coach they wanted I would suspect, their $ is endless.

Their facilities aren't the best in the state or their conference.

Ain't nobody bsing me. A&M is right at the top. I remember when published accounts had Kendavis Industries International, Inc. giving $1 million a year to the Ags. And that company, until T. Cullen ruined it, was nowhere near the top. And I have partied with rich Aggies. Those suckers have some serious oil, oil related and ranch wealth. All this as well as Houston and Dallas speculators.

Them Aggies can see any raise and bump the pot.

The way we have our money structured I don't know if we will ever crack top three of the Forbes list. But that is good, because it allows us to act in the cover of darkness. Hell, we have paid off like $100 mil of that stadium (if the sip's numbers are right) and endowed our minor sports for over $70 million so we are doing OK.

We had an AD that was blind to the advantages of exposure and proper messaging. He is long gone and anyone can break the bank with a huge stadium.

Longhorns can buy almost anything, their pockets are deeper than most teams entire wallets, their wealth is crazy.

I've travel a bunch and I find myself missing Tex Mex for sure. I also find myself missing kolaches (even though they're not really, but you knew that) when I don't actually treat that many to begin with.

It's got to be getting close. Maybe the new SEC network money will push us over this year. That or the new $150 mil multimedia deal signed a few months ago.

Are you partial to Czech or German Kolaches?

My grandmother was a Danish woman and could make a mean arse Kolache, even though she wasn't Czech. I don't know where she learned how to make them.

It is hard to find damn good Kolaches anymore. Prasek's in Hiljie has good ones, and that place in West had good ones too. But they aren't like the smell of Grandma cooking them.

I don't know.

Jalapeño sausage, cheese, and a good bread.

Yessir.

West is a bastion of goodness.
