I have a 5s and honestly, it runs slower and there is nothing on this that is "mind blowing" how is my year old technology suddenly outdated? I feel like I'm being pushed into a buying a new phone
Can y'all point me to some new and useful things I can do on this operating system ? I'm not gonna use the predicative tezt cause it's just gonna slow me down

With this being the first release after a major redesign, I wasn't expecting a lot and have been pleasantly surprised.
In the time I have been using it, it seems to me that they drilled down to the things people use their phone for constantly and made those things better. Rather than a lot of "wow factor" stuff that is cool but you end up hardly using, iOS 8 is big on streamlining user's most frequent activities.
It's underwhelming until you really start using it.

Yep. More I play with it more i go oh that's clever or going to be handy. Lot of detail changes are making for a better than ever user experience.
I haven't noticed any slow down on my 5S but I'm gonna hold off on that till I use it more. I have noticed some scrolling lag on my older iPad. Example scrolling Facebook it's noticeable. Nothing else so far.
