It will be interesting to see how the backcourt shakes out this year. Rivers looked at his best playing with Morrow, so he and Jimmer might be a good match too, but it seems unlikely both would be in the game at the same time much.

OK I read that wrong as in he could be behind 4 or 5 guards.

Anyway, there will be plenty of minutes for Rivers if he can score efficiently and keep up his d.

This is his make/break year, I think he seizes it.

It's about 17 minutes long so I don't expect you to watch it all, but it's a really nice update on his progress over the summer.
He's gained about 10 lbs of muscle and he's really come a far ways with his left handed finish.
Still progressing with his midrange.

Wasn't all this said last year?

However, I'm still reluctantly on the bandwagon.

I'm looking to see if they will still try to use Rivers as a pg. That experiment needs to go away. Outside of injury or foul trouble, there are no circumstances where Rivers should be initiating offense in a competitive game with this roster

If anything, he should be a D and 3 guard. A change of pace unit w/ Anderson, Davis, Evans as pg and Rivers off ball is tasty, regardless of the fifth guy.

This is where I parked my car!

I was ecstatic we didn't have to ship AR for free to make Asik happen. People that hungry that have the natural ability simply do not fail. I will repeat that over and over again. Whether we have a spot for him on our guard heavy roster is another issue. If Gordon shows out this year and opts out, he could very feasibly be the 6th-7th man off the bench assuming he shows the progress year to year I fully expect to see.

If he doesn't make a significant jump this year, I'll sleep on him forever. He's been in the game long enough to finally make that leap. So...let's make something happen this year, Rivers!

Yeah Austin made a leap already...towards the end of last season...I expect him to continue this trend...first year issues were overblown by the statisticians
