I've been watching South Park on their shitty new site and the commercial for this show comes on every 5 minutes, along with the stupid old spice and jack links ads. They all make me want to punch the individuals involved in the face.

I don't think it's offensive, but I find the premise stupid and insulting.

Being black isn't a thing. I mean what heritage and roots are they trying to hold onto?

I loathe anyone who primarily identifies themselves by something so stupid

I'm thinking you don't know the meaning of the word racist.

Dad: All of this coming from a mixed woman, who technically, isn't even really black?
Mom: Well if I'm not really black, could someone tell that to my hair and my arse?

This is an example of what I'm talking about. Black women have kinky hair? You don't say! Tell me more about these interesting exotic peoples.

I don't think very many people do. It originally meant "the belief that one's race is superior to others". I'm not sure how that could, in any way, describe this show.
