OP you are 27 rent apartment in the city until u get feel for everything. If you are moving to the city, move to the city. Experience it. 27 is young for the woodlands.

I just assumed he would be working in the woodlands since he asked. If he's working in Houston then midtown makes a lot more sense. There's still a surprising amount of people our age here too.
