Miz is someone who can actually get heel heat, not a heel who is trying to be cool. He's perfect for the IC title feuds, but shouldn't be in contention for the world title.

That's another thing. The IC title or US title holder used to be the default "#1 contender" for the world title, lending those titles a degree of prestige. Now the IC title is strictly a prop. Rember how big of a deal it was for someone like Rick Rude or Shawn Michaels to come out with the IC title back in the day?

He is the BEST pure rassler the WWE has. But yet will STILL not give him a shot......... I love his matches.. He takes a HUGE amount of punishment and still delivers..........

Vince going public with the company + Linda's political hopes + wrestler deaths = watered down version of what once was.

Not to mention all of those guys were into wrestling for the right reasons, they loved it and wanted to be the best at a time where the only one making real money was someone like Hogan.

They upped the bar to a point where it's basically unreachable now.

The internet has "smartened" everyone up. If the internet existed in the 80s with Hogan, he would have gotten the same reaction as Cena gets today.

The problem is they went to a PG era. It's corny as hell. Every once in a while they will produce a rivalry that I actually get excited for. Like Bryan/HHH, The Shield, etc.
They are struggling like all hell to promote and get excited for their next PPV. I watch it every Monday and am struggling at the moment to think of another match besides Cena/Lesnar that will be there.

Also the Divas matches are a waste of time on Monday. They are nice to look at, but women's wrestling was more entertaining when Chyna, Luna Vachon, and Lita were around.

Now there's a few still there that are entertaining to hell to watch because they go all out, like Randy Orton in particular. They need to drop the PG era and bring back a version of the attitude era. Be more creative with their matches instead of the usual pin fall. Use more tables, chairs, ladders, and anything else destructible.

Lots of wrestling fans online value work rate (ie a good worker like say Brad Armstrong back in the day) over someone with pure charisma who is not the best technical wrestler (like a JYD or Hacksaw Jim Duggan). This line of thought has been repeated so much that people accept it for fact.

Which made the truth about what really happened 13 years ago even harder to hear.

I agree that Ziggler is the most underappreciated, underutilized guy currently on the roster. He was insanely over when he beat Del Rio of the world title, but the concussion screwed it all up. I'm hoping he makes it back to the top, eventually.

As for Ryback, he has a million-dollar build but apparently he's very weak-minded and has a lot of mental/emotional issues. I think WWE is wary of doing too much with him because they view him as a liability.

And in Brock's defense, no one forced anyone to hire him or pay him that salary, or RE-sign him for the same salary once his original contract was up, or put the title on him. He's playing the game just like anyone else in his position would do. Don't hate the player, hate The Game.

As I stated before, I think Devitt has the "it" factor... I just hope they let him continue to use his paint.

I used to watch it when Monday Night Raw first came on USA.

then a weird thing happened. I thought I had out grown it but then seriously it got popular again while I was in high school.

people got a kick out of Stone Cold Steve Austin and Goldberg.

I think maybe my favorite feud from back in the day were the Undertaker-Mankind brawls.

Bret Hart and Diesel was a good rivalry but then Nash left not too long after he lost the belt to Bret Hart.

then for awhile it was the Bret Hart-Shawn Michaels feud that got dragged out.

never would have guessed The Rock would get to be as big as he got.

I remember when he debuted.

Shawn Michaels is a fig. He is the epitome of the word "douchebag."

Ziggler doesn't get pushed because he is made of glass and they can't justify pushing him just to see it wasted because of time off for a injury.
Specifically, he has a concussion problem.

I am really liking Dean Ambrose. He reminds me of a young mankind, especially that outstanding match with Seth Rollins a few weeks ago. I would take some of the newer NXT guys and restart the cruiser weight title. They didn't need it when it was 2 hours of raw. Now that it's 3 hours, it would eliminate a crap segment with a good high flying match.

Also, the US title, IC title, Tag title, (and cruiser weight if brought back) would be defended every PPV. I would rotate them being defended on raw as well. US and Tag title on line between these PPV and then between the next PPV through some Ic title matches on raw. However, I would go back to the glory days and have the WWE champ never fight in a singles match on raw or smack down. Give promos, build story line, but you gotta pay to see the champ in action. Maybe just give him a tag warm up match or something on the going home show before PPV

Bad news Barrett also is injury prone. It seems each time he is getting really over he gets hurt. I love the gimmick
