When do you make a phone call to the President of Florida State (or whatever their equivalent of the Board of Supervisors)and explain to them to drop Winston like a live grenade?

The Title IX case isn't going away, and with the latest stuff to come out, will not go away...

I'm not a lawyer, but I think you could make a case for legal liability going beyond the university to the state...

Rick Scott is ahead in the polls. No way he jumps into that fray.

Leave it alone.

Winston will declare for the NFL soon, and in light of his actions on top of the beating the NFL is currently taking, no one will draft him.

Then we are all done with him forever.

That ship has sailed so getting rid of Winston wouldn't do anything but alienate a good percentage of his constituents.

The incident happened off campus, the county and then state both refused to charge him after seeing all the evidence. His lawyer isn't going to allow him to say anything more than what he said in his police statement.

So I would tell the Governor are you asking the athletic director of a college to do something that your attorney general refused to do?

I don't understand why people are disagreeing with you. You do bring up a good point. The state of Florida has been a big mess recently.

I wouldn't even dream of it.

I hope I would have bigger issues than what some idiot college kid is doing.

Yeah, I would think that a lawyer would know that the only "legal liability" in play here would be the exposure of everybody that you suggest should conspire to violate a person's 1st amendment right and the right to continue to embarrass himself by showing poor judgement.
