Despite LSU's defense, which leads the league in four categories, many expert prognosticators are picking State.

I think this plays well into LSU's preparations. The offensive line has something to prove, and the offense will be much more balanced than it was last week's vanilla showing.

LSU's coaching expertise will be showcased this Saturday. Cameron and Chavis will put on a clinic. If LSU's special teams round out the performance and the Tigers protect the football, I don't see State winning.

Looking forward to experiencing the new and improved Tiger Stadium.

good this will motivate the team. I just don't think we lose this game. We could yes but we should win this game.

It's possible to state an opinion without posting a link to your shitty blog that isn't even relevant to the topic at hand.

Still waiting on that secret playbook huh?

What we've seen to this point is the offense. They aren't gonna "open it up" all of a sudden with half the team being freshmen or sophomores

I don't think people realized how vanilla we've played on offense the last two weeks. I think the second half of Wisky is much more indicative of how we look this year.

I hope coach Miles doesn't stubbornly run the ball. I think LSU could pick apart MSU's secondary to help open up the run. I feel pretty good about this one.

I can see where they're coming from. We can't run the ball on ULM and a completely new Wisconsin front 7, while MSU's strength is front 7.

PLus, our defense hasn't really played anybody. SHSU offense was dominated by Colorado st.-Pueblo.

Wisconsin was going old-school NEbraska style running it down our throat before we got lucky that Gordon got hurt.

I'm not saying our D isn't good, but I do think it's too early to crown them as anything more than slightly above average.

I've said it before, the law of averages works in their favor, but I think we still win.

I like LSU chances Saturday Night in Death Valley...a place where opponents dreams come to die.

I've thought since the beginning of the year this is one of LSU's toughest games this year because of the matchups.

I'm a little more worried now too, I think they have the best DL is the SEC and it seems our OL is under-performing (mainly against movement- stunts, etc).

As a Tiger fan I fully expect the OL to step it up a notch for our SEC opener, at home, however.

Pregame interview:
Holly: "So coach Miles, what is the key for your team against MSU tonight?"
Miles: "The team with the Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) device upon their headgear has a want to compete at the highest level
against a quality opponent. Certainly we will be setting our designs upon that moment at the back end of this competition where ultimately a
victory is possible."

I recall in 2011 lots of experts picking MSU. Finebaum was preaching it because of our SOS. Lots of : "Trap game, Thursday night, etc." MSU was really feeling it and that year may have even been the beginning of Grindfest. That was their year they thought. Cowbells were in full force MSU played hard and gave it their all, but we won pretty handily.

We should dominate based on quality of athletes. Rivals ranked MSU's 2011 -2014 classes 44,30,26,37.
It ought to be no contest.

It is trendy to pick an upset, most haven't watched either MSU or LSU play a snap. We have a couple of matchup problems with them. Hopefully our speed will make up for it.
