I got the gout but I am not overweight, do not drink hardly at all, etc...and still got a case of the gout.

I think I narrowed it down to me drinking that preworkout Nitric Oxide supplement powder shite.

In left wrist... Maybe another shot... Had it for 3 weeks flares up sometimes.... But just keep an ace bandage on it and roll on.. People have told me that alcohol wont let it go away....

So I guess it will stay.......

Allopurinal. I was stubborn and fought that shite for a couple of years. Now on the maintenance drug and don't get any attacks anymore.

I've always been fascinated by the illustrations of the afflicted. I fortunately am demon-free, but I sympathize with those who are not.

Prayers sent homey. Gout in the big toe is fricking awful and it stays with you for at least a week.

Buddy of mine has it from time to time. Doesn't seem like a lot of fun. Just called him and relayed what I've learned about it here to him.

Don't fatties get this more often?

Diet influences gout, but its genetic. If your parents or grandparents didnt have it you wont.

Its aggravated by excess urea in your system, which can build up in deposits in joints. too much protein can cause this. So being fat, meanting eating probably too much protein and rich foods can make it worse.
