any cheap antennae will work. ABC will be great, CBS requires the user to be smarter than the device. Here is what we do:

Set up your antennae and search over the air channels by using your tv's menu. once done, look and see if your tv found channel 9-1 (this is the over the air CBS station) If it did not, randomly move your antennae over a foot in any direction and repeat the channel search. Keep doing this until your tv finds 9-1. it may take a while. Once your tv finds the station then select that channel. it may be partial reception, pixelated, or no reception at all. Since your tv has found that station, simply have someone move it around until you get a solid hd signal.

once success is acheived (this is the most important part) make an announcement stating any drunk arse that bumps the antennae and loses the signal will get pummeled like david duke at soul train

A few things we've learned over the years:

- Basic $15 HD Antenna will work. We "hook" ours into the metal tent frame and it appears to use that as additional support.

- Wifi will work in the morning for gameday via WatchESPN, but as the day goes on and more people are connected to the network via their phones, etc. it slows to a crawl.
