They lost 12-7 to Seattle and 24-23 to the Bills

So they lost to the Superbowl champs by 5 and the fricking bills by 1.

We lost to a division opponent by 3 in OT and to the fricking browns by 2.

In 1993, the Cowboys were defending Champions and lost their first 2 games, including a 19-point blowout loss on the road to open the season, only to go 12-4 and win the Super Bowl that year.

In 2003, the Patriots lost their opening game to the Bills 31-0 and started 2-2, only to finish the season 14-2 and win a Super Bowl.

In 2001. the Patriots lost their opening 2 games, and started 1-3 and still won the Super Bowl that year.

In 2007, the Giants started 0-2, and won the Super Bowl.

In 2011, the lost their first game, and won the Super Bowl.

In all these cases, the teams didn't start the season with 2 games on the road.
