The kid with the lesser IQ will have different qualities and strengths that you will love ab him/her.

for the record, this is not necessarily true

i know plenty of absolute pieces of shite. they were pieces of shite as kids, too.

i doubt i'd raise a piece of shite, but it happens

nobody thinks their kid is not smart. well that's statistically impossible. half the kids will be below-median intelligence

I read the first page and the last page of this thread and it's clear that SFP is not as intelligent as he thinks he is.

You're implying that the not as smart SFPjr will be a TPOS bc he's not as smart? What if he's funnier, has a more caring heart for people, and other redeeming personality traits? What if dumb dumb makes you laugh and appreciate his love for life despite not being the valedictorian?

SFP, suppose you have 2 kids.

The first has your IQ. However, as he grows up, you realize he is a total piece of shite. He thinks he's better than everyone else, and treats everyone else like they are beneath him. He's mostly hated by his peers. He's completely socially inept.

Your second child is slightly below-median intelligence. But he's a wonderful kid, very loving, puts others before himself, and excels at what he does because he works harder than most people do to compensate.

Which one do you think would be easier for you to co-exist with and parent?
