If he's running it even close to often, I doubt he needs to flash the field.

Probably trashed a rectifier or voltage regulator if the brushes are still good.

Just turned it on and checked the voltage at the outlet nothing.

Took the cover off and unplugged the wires from the back of the panel and tested directly on the wire leads. Got the voltage meter to light up but didnt even move the needle going to 120.

I Couldnt get any deeper without taking some outer panel pieces off so I may just bring it in to a shop.
