I could live with everything on the list but the ascot is just too over the top

eye patch > monocle. Both can't hold a candle to the cape, obviously.

No longer seen as classy, distinctive attire.

Now seen as you've a big disability lawsuit going on, and there is a private investigator following you.

Broke. I'll follow your lead. I have recently considered sporting the monocle.

I'm not sure they completely went away in England. I remember jokingly tweeting something about a monocle a few years ago and some Brit replied to me and told me he sells monocles in England and business is good. but I LOLed because he was a Brit jumping to the defense of monocles.

I saw a guy last April in Grand Cayman wearing a monocle. He had a nice handlebar mustache too although he couldn't possibly be a hipster since he looked to be in his early to mid sixties.

Looked bad assed.

My oldest son bought me a monocle last Christmas. He was inspired by a character I created in the video game Rock Band. I've been ranting for years now that the monocle WILL make a return and rock/pop music will be the delivery platform.

But I now believe it will happen in rap music. Book it.

Do you really feel like giving everyone $200 when they pass free parking? A monocle carries a lot of responsibility...

Very cosmopolitan...But he's not wearing any goddamned pants! I somehow doubt I can use the "Hey, I'm dressing like Mr Peanut" defense when I get arrested.

And, I'm not sure that's an ascot, but I know what you mean.

It'd be kinda cool if proper hats were still a common thing. I'd take anything from top hats to a bowler.
