This, actually. There is not reason Ingram shouldn't have gotten 20+ carries in that game. It was clear that he was working Cleveland.

Yep - this right here. We're clearly having trouble with their pass rush, and with substitutions in the passing game, etc. Thats why this offense struggles on the road.

You know how to get around that? RUN THE DAMN BALL!!!! No trickey substitutions and pre-snap adjustments. When youre whipping their arse at the line, just line up and go.

Im not giving the defense a free pass on this, but our coaching got in our way yesterday. This team will not win on the road until we learn how to commit to the run.

Ball sailed over Graham's hands completely.

what ticked me off is ingram just ran for 12 yds i called it when i said time to take ingram out and of course they did. go zero backfield brees ends up running for his life and just chunks it in grahams direction high. graham could of got a hand on it but when you do that over and over interceptions will happen every now and then. Please never go zero back field again

Wrong. The angle from the end zone shows the ball clearly going through his hand. It was an easier catch than his second touchdown which Drew intentionally threw over his head.

Does anybody else agree that Hoyer threw about 6 times more risky/bad balls that Brees and it's just a cruel fluke from a God who hates us that Brees' one "bad pass" (which wasn't even bad) got returned for a backbreaking pick 6 whereas we couldn't manage to corral just ONE of Hoyer's awful ducks/tips/throwaways? So damn frustrating

that play is absolutely on the coaches…then on Graham, and lastly on Brees…if anything, Brees made a helluva throw as he was being crushed…IIRC, it was 2nd and fricking 5 and we go 5-WR set with no RB…stupid

also, it was an impressive play by the CB because Graham actually tipped the ball as it sailed through his hands and the CB still caught it cleanly.

Yeah...not correct. You need to see the angle from the endzone. Directly through both hands.

Brees got hit as soon as he threw the ball causing the high throw. It most definitely went through Graham's hand but it was a tough catch.

Where are people getting this from? That was uncatchable on Graham's part

this is the 2nd fricking thread where you are spewing this nonsense. the ball went right through his fricking hands. watch the replay, get some glasses but frick, dont be adamant about something that isnt even factual

I'm pulling it up on NFL Rewind and it look like it went just over his hands. He wasn't fully extended though. He misjudged it

Who was responsible for that blown coverage at the end? Was it Lewis?

Not sure. I'll see if I can fast-forward to that part of the game tonight without hurling my dinner.

I hope not, he's the best thing we have to a shutdown corner.

He did not misjudge it. It did not go just over his hands. It's a catch he should make 20 out of 20 times.

If it went through his hands, he def misjudge it

I'm watching it in slow motion right now. His arms aren't fully extended and it appears to go slightly over his hands

The pass did look high. It definitely sailed on Drew. I put that one on Drew.

Drew was hit right as he threw that ball which forced it to sail, and it went through Graham's hands. It's a difficult catch for him to make though because it was too high. That INT was due to great play by whoever hit him and the blame lies squarely on whoever missed the block.

ETA: so I just watched the posted video, and it was Armstead who missed the block. Can't see who the Browns defender was, but he is the reason that ball was INT, not Brees nor Graham

That angle is looking down. If you see the review/replay from field level endzone, you'll see that the entire ball went through his hands.

Yes...he misjudged it in the sense that he didn't catch it. But his hands and eyes were there.
