LSU is #3 in total team defense, #2 in scoring defense, and #1 in passing efficiency defense. Very impressive!

If those numbers stick after State comes in town, then I will be excited.

Our passing stats will improve against State, too.

quote:Sam Houston and ULM. Two horrible teams. And look at the offense after playing two horrible teams. 90th in passing. 90th. Tha is JJ years rankings. That's not gonna beat ranked SEC teams. Especially Bama who has the no. 1 rushing defense. We won't be able to even move the ball on them unless our passing game improves drastically. Too bad they decided not to work on that last night.
Very impressive!

Was pretty obvious that they tried to work on running against a stacked box.
Didn't really work, IMO.

After two lousy teams we are 90th in passing and nobody is impressed with our running game. This team is good... just not very good.

We beat a hell of alot of good teams and Bama teams during those years. In fact, more than ever in 2011. And in '11, those were two senior QB's. Not a freshman and a sophmore who are still learning this system and getting better everyday.
