Yes and it does not help at all when the coach for Sam Houston has a press conference whining about how we humiliated him and his team of helpless boys on national TV. I am and always have been afraid that Les was taught to take a 3 to 10 pt win and kneel in Victory to respect the opponent. I think he started doing that last yr in one game with about 8 minutes left on the clock and it humiliated the other coach. We won and lost too many games by less than 4 pts.

Meanwhile Art Briles at Baylor says 40 pts is not a lead and measures success by how many 70 and 80 pt games he has and expects to score on every possession. A lot has been made of the teams pitching shut outs and we were back in the news tonight for our second for the first time in a long time.

I liked the pace and energy of the Sam Houston game and last year I liked the hurry up offense we ran. It seems that we are slowing down more and more because they do not have plays called in advance. Tonight we could have scored more points and at least the offense was actually blocking and not just standing around when the play was not designed to go in their direction.

Right now our defense is credited for roughly 50% of our pts, so DBU is back, but the offense does not have pace and rhythm, not compared to Baylor and A&M. They already have 2000 yds of offense after 3 games. Briles and Sumlin both worked at Houston. Watching their offense with 4-5 WRs, 2 outside the right and left hash, stretching from sideline to sideline, operating with just the QB in the shotgun and him taking off through the giant holes and running for a score is mesmerizing. Their D is the same. They try and score on every play.

if that were the case, then we should join the Big 10 or Big 12. Defintely wouldn't want to stay in the SEC.
