PF Chang's is a little pricey for Chinese food, and it's certainly (mostly at least) the Americanized version of Asian dishes. Of course, most Chinese/Vietnamese owned and operated smaller establishments serve most of the same stuff.

All of that said, I do think it's well prepared and fresh. I won't make a trip out of my way to go to one, but I don't mind eating there if it's convenient.

This is what impressed me the most about changs. I got to take a walk through before it opened. The contractor that did new buildouts was a regular at the bar my wife bartender. No freezer in the back of the house. The burners for the woks were impressive. High quality kitchen and that's what your paying for.

I do have a link for knockoff recipes if anyone wants it. I cook the changs spicy chicken, lettuce wraps, Mongolian beef, and shrimp dumplings from these recipes and they taste the same for a fraction of the cost.
