Anyone play this on Xbox One?

Also, I hate defense on this game. I've started parking the bus a lot to mask my weak defensive game.

I just made the jump from PC to Xbox One a few days ago. Defense is tough, but it's almost impossible if you try to play with your CBs. Stick to using the mids or they'll bump right past you. Feel free to add me on Live. GT: I Zachari I

I enquired about some striker that was 18 and a 78 overall who played at Elche and they told me they wanted $17 mil for him. I offered $15 mil for him and they sent me an email back pissed saying that they have valued him at no less than $24 mil.

shite like that happens all the time in the game. Pisses me off so much.

No idea if anyone cares about cleats in the game, but EA did a pretty good job getting the recent "Shine Through" Nike cleat collection onto the marketplace in a timely manner. I just saw Nike tweet out that their new Neymar collection "Liquid Diamond" is out now. Hopefully EA gets these on there quick too!

Scouting America for youth players is very meh.

Now that I have funds i buy the scouts that are like 4 million+

Send them to Brazil, Argentina, England,Spain, Holland, Belgium and Germany. My youth team is very diverse.

Once in a awhile scout Ivory Coast or Ghana.

Now im having alot of the guys wanting to leave at 16 and 17 so i sign them and put them up for loan

Still can't believe Barca took one of my youth players on loan.

I usually play 2 to 4 academy players each match.

Fell 2 points shy of 4th place and got bounced from Europa in the Qtrs. I was able to keep my position though. Got that 84 OVR ST coming in on a free and had a few others blow up over the last season that are very young. Sold both of my older ST for decent profits and used those funds to strengthen my CB position with youth. I have Vertonghen back there but his stamina sucks. I was able to loan out a TON of my newly signed academy players, so I'm anxious to see how they progress over the season.

It's all RNG. Best youth player I've found has been from the US. England mostly gets me meh players.

I know it sounds boring....but I always take the USMNT job and I use two of my scouts in random countries and I always send one to the U.S. I've found meh players in the U.S., but I've also found three or four who have turned into 90+ overall players, and several who are 85+.

I think I've turned the US down now 3 times. I'm just not a big fan of doing the national team thing while managing a club team at the same time.

What do you all primarily use to switch in-game (lb/l1 or rs)? The switching mechanic in this game can eat a dick

Also, how do you all feel about players jumping out of tackles? I wish that I could just instruct them to just take the free kick/penalty instead of clumsily trying to hurdle the defender.

The AI behind switching is fricking terrible. I try to use RS so I can better control who I'm switching to, but out of habit I'll hit the LB and find myself taking my CB completely out of the play.

It still makes me angry, and I know exactly what to expect when I press lb

If you don't change the settings it is God awful. I always change mine to only change players automatically when the ball is in the air. I use the LB, even though it feels very unnatural sometimes, but overall I don't think there is much else they could do with it.

I have it set to manual

It's usually ok, unless FIFA incorrectly registers that I have possession and switches me anyway

So half way through season 3 @ Hamburger. In the top 4 but have a goal of winning the league. I can play solid games vs everyone except Bayern....frickers always seem to net 4 or 5 on me. Didn't really make any moves in the Jan window but I was offered a few nice fees for some of my ST and even one of my RB. I probably should have taken the 8-figure offer but thought I would get more as the window progressed....not so. Down to the final day of the Jan window so I'm going to do some searching and see if I can't find a few guys with just a few months left on their contracts. Wish me luck!!

So, why do clubs not sign their top guys?

Just signed Marco Reus and Gotze on free transfers.

Wild guess: We can adjust money between transfer budget and wages, but the computer cannot. So if the player demands a wage amount the club cannot pay at the moment without an adjustment, the club lets them walk.

Still really mad that the Derby board gave me less money my second year after I won the championship to get us promoted/league cup than in my first year. Signed Yedlin/McNair/Boga/Christensen on permanent deals. Brought in Pozo/Coman/Valencia youth player with 5* skills/weak foot on loan to buy. Redmond is up to a 78.

I've noticed that when I go and check on the "Job Openings" that other clubs always have a realistic amount of transfer money, but their funds for wages are sometimes more than seven figures. It's really funky.

Just signed a CM youth player on May 1 (Season 2) with Chelsea. It said he was 72-77 Ovr/91-94 Pot. Turns out he's a 77, and plays CAM/CM/CDM. He has 5 star skills and weak foot. 75+ in stamina, sprint speed, and accel. Easily the best youth player I've ever signed.
