I understand that, and nothing wrong with talking about it, but hopefully they went on from there to other things. If they did, the OP didn't mention it.

I think Emmert did as much for LSU and it's academic reputation as he did for the football program. From a salesmen standpoint, sports gets your foot in the door and the academics closes the deal. Great strategy to improve the overall reputation and standing of the school.
