Any other ideas possibly utilizing Italian dressing marinade, domestic light beer, or the best baton rouge or new Orleans burger

Crash hot potatoes, white or sweet, are delicious. He can put his ketchup on the white ones. Hash browns would go well with the ketchup too. I love crispy hash browns.
