Have you actually used it for this purpose? I've got a few but you have to be on a wifi network to use them (unless it's changed). I had planned on using them for wedding shoots but if there's no wifi at the event it was useless.

I have the 8GB Eye Fi card in my dslr, and it works great for pictures. it wont transfer video to my phone, but thats because I have an iphone and theres some glitch, it works to android. it is its own wifi hotspot, so you dont need a wifi network to use it.
