How many cities can you name in Afghanistan or Yemen? They attack New York because it's the only place they know. The guys executing these attacks aren't rocket surgeons.

o all those confused about why OP is nervous, there was an article stating 11 jetliners were stolen by ISIS and they were forcing the pilots to train them to fly. Intel also stated that there were possibly plans to attack the US on Sept. 11th

It's amazing how one half assed news story quoting a US official can create so much BS on the internet.

Hard to believe anyone with a brain thinks that a jet is just going to be able to take off from the middle east and not be detected right away or through international airspace and just fly happily into the US.

I'm pretty sure that none of those jets have a range to get to the US anyway without some kind of refueling operation, so there is that little problem too.
Not sure why people try to over hype shite like this.

It's hard to believe that it's been thirteen years since the attacks. Hadn't really thought about it until I saw this thread.

Eh, no one really thinks those ACTUAL planes will make it over here. But they're having pilots train them in these stolen aircraft so they can commandeer commercial flights in the US.

What do you guys think the most likely terrorist target in the US is? The one that would destroy the most people, infrastructure, and cause the most terror?

The only thing I am anxious about is that I have to go to work early since it is a shite show around the WTC.

I'm especially amused when people in places like Macon,GA, Auburn, AL or Lafayette act like they may be targeted. You never know, but come on.

Other than Osama bin Laden's personal assistant El Hage living and working in Lafayette, organizing other ULL students, and collaborating with Lafayette business man Mohammad Salman Farooq Qureshi who funneled money to terrorist organizations, there is really nothing that would put Lafayette on a terrorist map.

I've seen it several times on the politard board and in a few friend's chain emails.
Trust me, those people do believe it.
