Will be used primarily for everyday use including walking and light jogging.

Have Saucony's, good shoes, just not as light as I would have hoped for. About time to replace as I have more than a year into them and the mesh is starting to split.

Sauconys have always been my most comfotable longest lasting shoes. Dont know how much lighter a shoe can get though.

Check out a brand called Zoot. There supposed to be really light and very comfortable.

Not sure if they are the absolute lightest though.

Nike Frees are definitely light. I like the NB 610s as well. It's a trail shoe but super light and versatile.

Mizuno Waverunners are light as well. Went through the same feeling and when I switched, I fell in love with the Mizunos.

Merrill Vapors. But you can't just jump into them and run. You have to start very slowly at minimal distances with them, gradually increasing over time. Sounds like you are looking for the lightest shoe that still provides support, as opposed to a minimilist shoe.

I really like my Inov8 F Lite series. Better have a wide forefoot though
