Well, BB, this is an incredibly stupid thread for someone who knows nothing about Rush. But, it does jog an old brain cell.

Back in the day, there was a liberal activist who the MSM loved. His name was Mitch Snyder.

Mitch was the darling of Dan Rather. Mitch was waging a war against homelessness and getting tons of money from the Govt.

Then, it was discovered by the Repubs and trumpeted by Rush that he was a fake. His money was cut off. He committed suicide.

I remember tuning in the next morning to hear Rush's take:

"Yesterday, Mitch Snyder assumed room temperature."

I cracked up. I knew Mitch was a fake long before I ever heard of Rush.

His teenage girl friend brought Mitch's ashes to the floor of the House to beg for more money. She was denied. Mitch's ashes were obviously offended. But the Dems felt that it was too stupid to grant money to a jar full of dirt.

I think today they would go ahead and grant the money.

Actually, his show was starting as I got in my car a little while ago and he spent his whole opening monologue praising and lauding her about how she was not afraid to say what was on her mind, and saying they worked for years in the same studio she had actually been on his show. Is that the sort of thing you're looking for?

Tune in to one of these shows and you might find out, genius. As it stands, I bet you've never even listened to one of the commentators you have such vitriol for. De-humanizing them to the point that you assume they will speak ill of someone recently passed tells me all I need to know about you.
