To be fair, this thread was one big namecheck on you. Once you addressed it, it was all aboard for sidetrackin'.

You're still in school, right? I'm pretty sure that it fricks with your perspective. I find it hard to feel like a grown-up when I see people buying big ticket items and having children on purpose.

I'll be 26 soon, so you were almost right.

You posted stuff before giving away your age such as being in college, I think posting your age in the past, and I remembered you were a little younger than me. 21 was just an educated guess.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I'm 21, on my last semester of classes with an internship left to go before I graduate.

Me and my buddies talk about that all the time. How we used to think 31 year olds were mature and sophisticated. I'm still a big dumb animal just with more responsibilities.

It doesn't get better.

Yeah Dijkstra, I know that feeling. You wouldn't think 4 years would feel like a generational gap but sometimes it does. It amazes me some of the memes and viral videos that are super popular with my age group and my girlfriend and her friends have never heard of them.

And yeah Joey, I'm in school and I agree. The children thing seems pretty far away for me. We're pretty close in age I think. Hard to imagine I'm closer to 30 than 20 because I certainly don't feel that way.

Oh trust me I've resigned myself to that fact. Forever immature.

That's the big one to me. Kids have started and graduated college since I was 21. Soon my forearms are going to be so massive and filled with old dude strength that I won't be able to wear long sleeved shirts anymore, and my knuckles will look like Robin Williams' did.

Yeah. My best high school friend's "little sister," (who ended up growing up with a fantastic pair of knockers) is graduating college now. She's 4 years younger than us, and I always viewed her as "that little sister" - cute, I guess, but nothing more than that (until those boobs. And let me tell you, those things look glorious). Now I'm dating a girl her age and it just feels weird if I think about it too much. Like, I used to look at college seniors and think "wow, they're old and mature" and now I'm dating one and thinking, "Hmm... kind of young and could probably be more mature."

I felt old when I realized that this year kids who were born the year I graduated high school are now in high school.
