They want $15/HR.
Welcome to Popeye's Please pull around and wait a half hour
LINK
Currently only McDonalds, BK, and Wendy's participating. I wonder how long before these stores are totally automated and have no need for people other than repairs.

I wish they'd bring back all those gals from Russia that were her following Katrina.

pretty sure if you're not in a union, striking means you are fired

oh well. If they dont show up for work, fire them.

I don't think they understand the theory behind a strike. What exactly is their leverage?
Posted on 9/2/14 at 3:14 pm to Geauxld Finger
Although if they start paying 15/hr maybe competent people will want to do the work.

If their wish comes true then It is sure going to drive up the price of a lucky dog.

I don't get the point of this when Obama is trying to get amnesty who will gladly take the job for minimum wage. Flipping a burger or jockeying a register is not a skill, therefore you get minimum wage. Don't give me the b.s. either of how you're held down by the man and blah blah blah when pell grants and such can send you to votech to learn a trade.
Get off your lazy whiny arse, put down your fricking cell phone, and get my Frosty before you get a boot in the arse.

Well...bye. They'll be moving to automated ordering anyway.

Will probably be extremely difficult to find qualified candidates to replace the strikers.

How fricking hard is it to put a fork, straw, and fire sauce in my bag at taco bell?
Posted on 9/2/14 at 3:41 pm to Geauxld Finger
And not one frick was given.

99.5% of the people on Earth work harder than New Orleans fast food workers. And yes, I mean New Orleans specfically, although I'm sure many cities would apply here.
