I love the traditions. But the logo, the tunes the band plays, the football uniforms, the stadium, etc., etc. have all been brought into the 21st century without sacrificing tradition. TGBFT (including the Golden Girls/Purple People) has simply gotten stale. A little updating doesn't mean trashing tradition. But just doing it exactly the same as last year (and last century) isn't tradition--it's laziness.

I didn't take your posts as being over the top (I did see the other guys response). I was just enjoying our casual conversation about the band and dance team. Good point about Ohio St and A&M. Then again, I don't think that Ohio St could find 14-15 attractive girls that could add to their band. But I do like the "freshness" of their halftime entertainment. Actually, I have never watched the Ohio St band's halftime routine, but I see the youtube links all the time, and am aware of the Michael Jackson routine, or the Nintendo program.


Just saying that I find this a marvelous scene.
