Its not really debatable. Tahoe gets more snow than CO. Where do you think the fronts originate and who gets them first?

Telluride is nice but not worth the hassle. Go with easy access. You are splitting hairs trying to find the "best" It's all going to be amazing. Spend your time on the hill.

On average, yeah. Tahoe alpine areas get 300-500" a year, usually. Last year was bad. Tahoe snow around the lake heavier and more wet. Co has better snow IMO.
