Honestly, I have felt dirty about it. I don't blame the girls for the pics since they're human and I'm sure many of TLLotOP have a few pics flying around like this (aside from Bar Raffelli because Jesus Christ, that girl could for sure take one). But I did feel dirty with some of these, and it's the first time really. Jennifer Lawrence I think is the only celebrity I've been mystified over, and the shite I saw doesn't really change it, but I do feel bad for her. Her career can certainly survive it though, but I don't think she deserved it, nor did any of the other celebrities.

I feel real bad for these celebrities but Jennifer Lawrence should know better. She is a young, major major star and had to know she is a prime target for the papparazzi/this kind of lechery.

well, all of these women are living their posh lifestyles right now due to the value of their sexuality
so that applies to each one
people are trying to warp these comments into allegations of "blame", but THAT statement above is not blame
i'll explain this in other ways: there are prettier/hotter girls than JL/KU that have had their private nude pics shared without their knowledge/consent. did this sharing cause the internet to join together in fapping solidarity? of course not. why? because these girls are not celebrities and the values of their nude pictures is infinitely lower.
while the specific example of having nudes stolen isn't a likely occurrence, these celebs have to know it's only an option because they make millions and live a life that none of us do, due to their sexual-celebrity status. prior to friday, they'd ALL admit that millions of people would pay to see them naked. when naked pictures get out, what did they think would happen? something different? of course not
now, i glossed over the "getting out" part in that last paragraph. THAT is kind of where this debate occurs. obviously the nudes of these celebrities have a lot of value. obviously this tease is a major part of why these persons live a 0.0001% lifestyle. obviously the method of the nudes is an invasion of privacy and fricked up. obviously there will be some sort of personal violation that occurs when the media gets out. that weighing/balance is the discussion.

Exactly. This is the big reason I've never been a prude about it with my SO. I trust him, I don't include my face, and there's not anyone who cares enough to see me naked to go through the lengths that hackers are doing to celebs.
Same reason I didn't flip out about the FB messaging drama people have been talking about. There is nothing in my Facebook messages that would interest anyone.

BTW, I never thought that the whole iCloud or any cloud storage is secure. We had reviewed dozens of EHR's (Electronic Health Records) providers for our hospitals and most of them lacked secure protocols for accessing of patient records.
You think that a few nude photos leaked is bad, think about your entire medical history getting out...

that was about other stuff, like it having access to your phone/contacts and all of their info that you have stored on your phone
