most overrated superstar is still a superstar. You'd just like to see a guy who isn't one dimensional be your star player. The thing is he just came off an atrocious postseason where he was a godawful defender, didn't draw that many fouls, and shot very poorly from the floor.

But when he tries, he is merely a below average defender and a good bit better than the likes of Carmelo, Kyrie, and the Dragon on defense.

But it is unfair to call a guy who has been in the league for what 5 years now the most overrated superstar in history. He could improve drastically or he could flame out.

So...the Ukraine just beat Turkey 64-58

Asik put up 16 points and 20 rebounds but went 4/11 from the floor and both teams shot <40%. But no other player on either team had more than 7 rebounds and he was the games second leading scorer.

That's great news to me. The Pels expect him to dominate in the paint and that's what he did for Turkey. We don't expect him to put up a ton of points. If we can get 15 and 12 out of him every game I would be satisfied with that.

no it was a really good game from him. Just not a great game.

Interesting to see how long AD plays today against the Kiwis though.

He will not average 15 points. 8/11 would be great.

AD has 6 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal through the first quarter.

USA is continuing to struggle early in games though as the Kiwis are only down 7.

11pts, 4 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal in 11 minutes at the half.

USA has a 23 points lead 56-33 as they dominated the 2Q.

Hack-Asik will be a real thing if we are in a close game and he's on the floor.

Harden stopping the 4 on 1 break while trying so hard to not play defense he was almost off the court
