It seems that's been taught to get a 'good shooting' that if you say victim is 'going for my gun'(George Zimmerman , cop in Ferguson, Cops in NJ who framed Jeter, another in L.A recently, Oscar Grant handcuffed but hands 'going for his waistband'',et ...........
And if a cop says 'he was going for my gun' the apologists come running to justify the shooting.

You guys sound ridiculous. Do you actually think he just pulled his weapon out and shot him b/c he resisted arrest ? DWI stops usually are recorded with dash cam (exception with small towns).

Of course they do. And with good reason since that excuse is routinely used around here. BRPD cops shoot at least 3 unarmed people a week, just for resisting arrest

A single drop of sweat, a smear of blood, a skin scraping all contain abundant cells for DNA ID. It's not all CSI but a pistol has plenty of sharp edges and in a true struggle over it DNA will likely be left behind. I certainly hope they analyze for it since the presence of DNA on the gun would certainly lend credence to the story.

The Cop apologists don't need any of that bull.
If the cop feels 'he MAY have been going for my gun' or 'I thought he was going for my gun' etc,.......many apologists for Cops shooting unarmed citizens accept it.

Every Cop that has ever been on duty has received some level of 'resistance' ,but very few ever discharge a firearm.

I lived near this location and once was pulled over for " rolling " a 4 way stop sign at 11 pm. It was a bad experience because I was honest and was hauled off to blow a .03. Considering I lived around the corner I realized the cop was running defacto checkpoint... I'll be curious to see if it's the same cop. He was an absolute jerk on mulitple fronts.
