This exact same thing happenned to me after we took off from Glasgow to Newark. Everytime I reclined my seat, a big Scottish behind me hit my seat really hard. Wham!Afetr the second time, I got out and summoned a F/A. She diplomatically set my seat seat to the 1/2 recline position - also sending a message to the guy. I empathised with her and relented, although I stll think the other guy was a jerk and clearly in the wrong.
**In a related matter, I take issue with people at LSU games who don't respect knee room and "invade" my space. Really pisses me off. People are waaaaay less considerate today compared to bak in the day.
