If he goes to the cfl browns have to cut him and it sounds like they will, should we pick him up.

The Browns aren't cutting Gordon so he could play in the CFL.

No. Linebacker should be #1 priority.

Sure why not. He has a addiction problem and will cost millions but if we Loomis just right maybe CSP will change his approach on the kind of players he likes on his team.
Or we focus our money on LB'ers and guards next year.

There's literally no source saying they're even thinking about cutting him. Stop talking out of your arse

I wouldn't want anything to do with this trash.
Dude has addiction problem to some serious stuff. I mean we cant handle a guy that refuses to fly of the hinges because of some stress reduction ped, Some guy that wont lose weight because of his constant appetite, some irresponsible shite who refuses to have any restless night. Dude might come to practice with dirty clothes bc he forgot to wash his shite, just terrible.
This is just the beginning; dude passes 72 tests like some kind of oscar awarded actor, then takes a double sample test, passes one, and fails the other by 2ng. We're talking 2ng people; it's just straight up egregious.
No people of the saints talk; I pray to the good lord that we would take the high r...ergh low road on this one.
Who gives a shite if he's a top 5 WR when he's on the field

If he becomes a FA, the contract he gets will have a part where if he's arrested/suspended, etc. he loses a shite ton of guarantees so the team can cut him without losing cap.

First, the Browns have to cut Gordon for Gordon to sign with a CFL team; not the other way around. Gordon can sign everything but the CFL rules prohibit the contract unless he isn't on contract with an NFL team.
Second, Gordon remains on a quite cheap contract. And since Gordon is suspended for the entire year, the contract doesn't toll for this year and now runs until 2017.
Why would the Browns release him when they can hold his rights for free in case he manages to get back into the league next offseason?
Finally, Gordon would go on waivers and many teams would make a claim. We wouldn't be able to just sign him.
