Hammer or not it is still a cc
The improved trigger on the newer version is enticing and I generally don't like DOA guns

let me rephrase. if ccing in a pocket, hammer less definitely comes out easier .

I've reviewed almost every M&P. I have a friend with an M&P45 and plenty with Shields. Once I get those, all M&P pistols are covered.
