Do I make an appointment with an oral surgeon to remove it, or go to the dentist first?

I've got the same problem. Mine is on the top, so the dentist said they'll have to pull it since it would be hard to get to.

I would go to the dentist first and then get a referral to oral surgeon if he can't do it.

Or if you like spending money, go to the oral surgeon first.
