Everyday when I get to my neighborhood there are 20-40 teal sitting under the trees in the shade or muddling around the edge of the pond.

I am of course a good bit north of there but I don't recall seeing them in those numbers so soon.

Go to Catahoula Lake ride your wheeler around in the marsh to flatten the grass in about 30' circle, throw out dozen decoys. Thank me later

Just sit there all night drinking beers. You'll have your limit 30 min after shooting hours, then go home get a nap, come back about 10:30 and repeat. This I have perfected over the last 25 years. It's an art.

I wonder if it's Dirty Mike or the Boys. Maybe both.

I know a pond where close to a 100 Mexican Squealers hang in Slidell.

Dirty Mike, PM me and I'll let you know. Good hunting.

Which one of you fine, upstanding gentlemen are gonna take me on one of these teal hunts this year?

Same here. I haven't hunted in 30 years. I'm old.

Now I'll fish every day.

I haven't seen shite in the rice fields in SWLA. But have been hearing people talk about seeing a few in the marshes.
