Jeremey hill no question. Just because he did it the last 2 seasons doesn't mean we can't appreciate it now.
It's just odd that Hillard was supposed to be the better of the two.

He was ONE of the most complete backs. we have had several in the BCS era; hill, ridley, hester, just to name a few off the top of my head.

All you have to ask yourself is what back would you take from the past 15 or so years.
Hill would be my first choice with Hester as second then Broussard pre injury.
Hester just got the yards no matter what.

Honorable mention to Vincent his freshmen year

than Addai? def not a better receiver, and not as good a blocker either. better runner though.

I remember Addai going off against Kentucky in 2002.
He was awesome against Florida in 2004 and he might have caught 10 passes against Arkansas 2004. He was special.

Addai was probably the best pass protection RB we have had though.
Jacob Hester would disagree.
ware was pretty friggin good in pass protection. if he had more speed, i'd vote him instead of addai, but i can't remember a more dependable 3rd down back than addai.

Better runner, but better receiver is highly questionable at best.
I'm going Addai as "most complete" when you incorporate running, catching and pass-protection.
Imagine if Addai could have stayed healthy at LSU. Scary.

The way that dude cracked helmets was amazing. I could hear them through the TV screen. He would just spin into you and take your soul with him.

The answer is Fournette. He's an LSU back, and during his senior season at St Aug, which was during the BCS era, he was better than all the rest of them.

Toefield, Broussard and Vincent have no business being in this discussion. Three answers only...Hill, Addai and Hester.

Ridley was well rounded.
He doesn't have the stats that hill did, but he also had jj vs Mett.

That Florida game was amazing, Addai just willed us to win. I think we had 5 turnovers and the Gators had 0, and we beat them. After that game it looked like Addai could barely walk. Truly left everything on the field. Very impressive.
Overall, I've got to give it to Hill, unfortunately we didn't get to see him as much.
