The most recent thing that comes to mind is Barley Swine in Austin. Went a few weeks ago while visiting. It's not that the food was terrible, just kind of a big let down. We made reservations a few weeks out. It's $75 a person. They bring u out like 14 one bite courses. Some stuff was interesting. Everything was majorly lacking in salt. I had so much other great food, food trucks a what not, that this place was a huge let down for what my final bill was

damn, really? Barley Swine was probably one of my favorite meals of all time

although it seems they have certainly changed a bit since we went (2 years ago), as they did not take reservations and you ordered a la carte

we ordered the entire menu for around $100
