I'm only 32 years old, so it's hard to gauge this thing... is the Bush 8 year run followed by Obama 8 year run the worst 16 years in presidential history? If it gets worse than this shite, I fricking give up.

No. LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Carter for starters. Check out the 1800's as well.

Why you want to group them? Let them stand on their own.

Who have you voted for since you turned 18?

What objective metrics would you apply? How you "feel" probably isn't the way to go about it.

We're still finding a post-Cold War identity and adapting to the development of economies that contain the vast majority of the world's population and resources.

We'll sort it out.

It's par for the course. No better, no worse than the previous 16 years, or the 16 before that...

But what does one expect? The American people continue to accept a system that puts puppet after puppet in the White House, expecting different results.

I believe Einstein had a theory about that.

The people telling You GWB was a bad president were propagandist who had to bring his 2002 approval rating down, you see the lefts whole agenda is predicated on the uber presidency, appointing liberal judges to the federal courts who then change America into their image.

These leftist, elitist, media/W.D.C types are allin and will let nothing get in their way, even if it means attacking a popular president 24/7 to try and destroy him with B.S. lies.

Truth is Saddam renigged on jis cease fire agreement, the Dems voted for the war and then attacked the administration for deceiving them when the CIA reported to Clinton in 1999 that Saddam had WMDs, which didn't mean shyt anyway because Saddam broke his cease fire treaty.

So we have a president who had to protect us frim a 9/11 attack, who did all he could in his time of calling, was honest and a great man, vs Obama a lying coward

Also the Housing bubble was caused by Clinton / Obama who sued, Dodd and Barney Frank who said in 2004 or 2005 when warned by the GWB administration, " WHAT BUBBLE "

A clue to the young, socialism doesn't work.

The quicker the young understand the facts the better if you will be.

Carter was the worst president in tbe last 50 years until Obama showed up. Now Obama is the worst president all time

Absolutely. bush 41 and Clinton had a lot of problems, but at least they were qualified for the job. W and Obama are incompetent government worshipping puppets.

Yes, because a recovery from a horrible depression is so freaking bad.

Oh, but Obama's the WPE because the recovery isn't going fast enough, amiright?

It's been bad but I doubt it's the worst. What Wilson did alone about 100 yrs ago was pathetic.

I've only been alive for GHWB, BC, GWB, and BO. So by default re: age, I'd say Bush/Obama has been the worst 16 yr run.

You obviously wouldn't have made it through the LBJ -> Carter years.

It's been pretty awful since JFK died, just slightly variable degrees of awfulness.

I'd say the Johnson/Grant/Hayes years were pretty abysmal.

Johnson and a grant couldn't or wouldn't stop Reconstruction, which crippled the South for decades. And Hayes lost but got in office as a compromise to end Reconstruction. Pretty damned pathetic 16 years.
