Sweeting only made the 53 because we had little depth past our starters. That much became obvious when Vacarro and Lewis were out in that Eagles game.
But yeah, that shows how much talent we've acquired in one season if we're cutting people who were on the active roster.

Wade was also signed late last year and immediately put in front of him. Sweating was about as much hype as anything. Same with Reddick and Rufus.

I think we'll try to PS Sweeting. He was working out with Lewis all summer, sucks he couldn't make the jump to earn a spot on the 53 again.

Guys getting cut this round are rarely PS candidates. You hold those guys as long as you can to lessen the chance they get picked up.
Looks more like Brooks, Dixon, or Wade will be the PS CB.

Knox does and yes he can cover. Between him and Humber the middle was covered. Reddick made it by default last year and Johnson never made it.

Thinking some of these guys will bounce back somewhere;
Butler will make someone's squad. Really sucks for him how things worked out; Junior made him expendable when he got hurt.
I thought Uko was doing enough to warrant a PS; won't be surprised to see him somewhere too.

Also, I know we brought this up in the other thread but both Reddick and Sweeting are PS eligible with the new rules for the 2 new spots but I also believe Sweeting wasn't on the active roster enough to keep him out of the regular spots.
Not that either is likely to make the PS.
