This pervassive attitude will slowly encompass our nation until we are no more.

I want cops to be armed to the teeth in order to fight criminals! Yea! Cops are here for our protection!

It's kind of like saying, "We need a better, larger, more taxed government. You know, one with better trained bureaucrats and better policies."

You want what has never been, nor will ever be.

How you got all of this out of my post takes a special kind of "thinking". If you want to know the real persuasive attitude that's killing our country it's the entitlement mentality & those that "have nothing to hide therefore you can spy on me". FYI - there isn't anyone on the Rant that's more fiscally conservative than me, so your "We need a better, larger, more taxed government" is just dumb beyond comprehension.

You don't even know what this means.

My county only has one MRAP. That likely won't interfere with my plans.

A gun that liberals find scary looking.

Still not seeing how you get this out of what I said unless either of the following exist:

1 - you're a troll
2 - you're a 60s hippy/current Cali resident

But for the record, I have a HUGE mistrust for the Government & not 1/2 frick given if they know it.

According to this we have 14 assault rifles. The only time I've seen them on an officer was a couple years ago when a police Lt. went nuts and shot off over 100 rounds at his former coworkers. Police never returned fire. It pays to have connections.

Probably all state helos. Fly two keep the others for parts. If they are the state's, they are used to help out agencies across the state.

I'll keep it to myself as much as possible.

I don't see police having these items as that big of a deal. It depends more on how and when they are used IMO. There are legit reasons for them to have body armor and I do think there are appropriate uses.

Holy shite! WTH does Montgomery AL need ELEVEN helicopters for?!?!?!?

Don't they have an AFB there? Probably just give them all the old ones. Not that I see the need, but I'd rather them have 11 Heilos than 11 Tanks.

I can understand taking helicopters and converting them into a search and rescue mission but grenade launchers and armored vehicles? Ridiculous.

In a county of 123,000, we have 22 pistols (I don't even know what this means), 19 assault rifles, and 1 helicopter that likes to hover right over my fricking house because hicks won't quit building meth labs close to me.
