You think a couple of favorable comments absolves you of your nitpicky criticism? It's a fricking campy sci if show. You're complaining about the size of a dinosaur WHEN THE WHOLE SHOW IS ABOUT A TIME TRAVELING ALIEN. You must think the Slitheen were too big for their species, too, right? If you don't like the show and want to criticize every week, keep your shite to yourself.

I don't think the show is without flaws.
They did at one point dedicate half a season to the Slitheen, after all.
But you're complaining about shite that has no bearing whatsoever on the plot or development of the characters.
The size of a fricking dinosaur? Really?
ETA - I guess you did address the fact that you think it's dumb that the robots can't fight Vastra and Jenny and Strax. And that you thought holding your breath was a dumb counter move. At least those are legitimate story complaints.
Their inability to handle Vastra, Jenny and Strax has already been addressed, though. They're all three trained fighters. These robots are used to taking down halpless London citizens.
And that's your entitled opinion on the breathing thing. I thought it was clever. The robots have survived to this point because humanity as a whole is dumb and couldn't sniff them out. That's why the Doctor exists in this universe. Because humanity is a bunch of pudding heads. But, the Doctor found their weakness and exploited it.

also, I was making a bit of a point in this thread. A bit of an experiment and it worked perfectly.

And I am not sorry in the least that I prefer a well written show. Being sci-fi doesn't mean it can be crap. A T-Rex the size of Big Ben is crap.

I think the stupid copper thinking a blue box with writing on it is an egg is bad writing. You like it.
I think a Sontaran acting like he has a severe brain injury is bad writing. You like it. Doesn't help that he is actually wearing human clothes and works for people who wear clothes.
I think people surrounded by robots wielding swords but nobody actually sword fighting is bad choreography. You like it.
I think it is bad writing to have the robots commit suicide after surviving for millions of years. You liked it.
